In the month of November, let us focus on the need to share. 

As we focus on sharing this month, I think of the scripture…

Acts 20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

Sharing and giving is a perspective that positions us to achieve our potential. That’s why the Holy Spirit shared that with Apostle Paul in the above mentioned scripture.

When these moments of inspiration come, do you record them down in some way.  Whether that is on a paper pad, digital app or in some other way, If you don’t capture the good ideas when they come, there is a chance that you can forget them.

Some view it as a harmless cultural event, while others avoid it due to its associations with death, the occult, and paganism. Many churches offer alternative celebrations, such as harvest festivals, focusing on Christian themes of light and remembrance.

October marks Pastor Appreciation Month, a special time to recognize the tireless dedication and commitment of our pastors. They guide us through life’s challenges, offering wisdom, support, and spiritual nourishment. This month, let’s show our gratitude for the countless hours they invest in teaching, counseling, and praying for us.

Prophetically I believe the Hurricanes represent God’s judgement, cleansing and a wake-up call to His believers or followers; as these Hurricanes are an overwhelming force of nature.

Challenges Are Coming to Our Nation, the United States of America

2025 should be a good year for the United States economy and the markets. You should take advantage of this in your jobs, careers and businesses. However, it will be another transitional year. A year where we need to further prepare for the challenges that will be coming to our nation and to the world in the coming years.

In the month of September, let us focus on why we are here. 

To do this, you need to focus on your purpose.  What has God called, purposed and gifted you to do?  What areas of your life do you need to improve?  What are you not doing that you should be doing?  What are you doing that you should not be doing?

In order for you to accomplish all that God wants you to do in the earth, you have to believe in yourself. Which means that you build your self-confidence, foster a positive mindset and live a life of purpose.

People typically don’t like the idea of correction. If you were to do a survey, not many people would raise their hands in response do you like to be corrected.

How do you get to where you want to go?

Defining what you want to accomplish with your life involves creating a game plan with action steps can help keep you motivated and make your journey feel more purposeful.

As we enter the month of August, let your love shine as we walk through this month.

I think of our Heavenly Father as He showed us His love through the sending of His son the Lord Jesus into the world for those who were walking in darkness and not in the light. What a wonderful expression of love that was expressed by our Savior.

The Bible explores jealousy in several ways, including as a human sin, a form of idolatry, and a way to understand God's nature.

There are really only two paths that we can take in life. The one that leads to a closer relationship with the Lord and more blessings in our life or the one that leads to a disconnection with our Heavenly Father and more negativity in our life.

Prayer for 2024 Elections…

We are responsible, ultimately, for how our life unfolds or how we respond to what happens to us. Are you a person of self-awareness? Are you able to take responsibility for your actions? We are captains of our own destiny. If it is going to be, it is up to us.

It is unfortunate, but we live a constant flow of negativity. Just turn on the news or listen to gossip among friends, coworkers or neighbors [which you shouldn’t by the way]. When I say negativity, I mean there is a tremendous amount of criticism and critical views being expressed every day in our society.

Now that you are retired, you might be asking yourself, now what? I have always said that retirement is the time for you to do the things that you really love doing. In the Bible, there is no such thing as retirement. So, we can take our direction from that.

It is important of find and live one's purpose, it brings fulfillment and peace into our life. Despite the desire for purpose, surveys show that few people know or follow their life purpose regularly. Purpose is essential for an optimistic outlook and health, especially as we age. It differentiates between genuinely living our purpose and the relentless pursuit of an idealized version, which can change throughout life.
