How to receive from a Prophet

The Role of the Prophet

Prophets, also known as seers, are the spiritual eyes of the Body of Christ. They perceive deep spiritual revelations, akin to an eagle's view, and possess the ability to foresee the future. They serve as mouthpieces for the Lord, delivering His messages. The role of prophets is essential, as they proclaim God's plans, paving the way for events like the coming of Jesus. Their revelations can come as words of knowledge, wisdom, or discernment, and their prophecies edify, exhort, and comfort, aligning with 1 Corinthians 14:3.

Prophets Warn

Prophetic words aren't always comforting; they include warnings. In the Old Testament, as in modern times, prophets conveyed judgments not out of condemnation but as an opportunity for repentance. In Ezekiel 3:17, God appointed prophets as watchmen to warn and guide. God's desire is for His people to live victoriously, so He sent prophets to guide Israel to obey and avoid defeat. Even today, God sends warnings through prophets for correction, judgment, or guidance, emphasizing the importance of listening and heeding these messages.

Prophets Prepare the Way

Isaiah, the great prophet, prepared hearts for God's coming by announcing future events. His words in Isaiah 40:3, 5 created a path for the Lord's arrival. John 1:14 confirms that prophetic words become reality. This illustrates how we should view prophecy in our lives—never giving up and maintaining faith, even in long waits.

For example, a prophetic word from Apostle Amos for 2024 is that “Heaven’s Government is going to have a significant impact in the Earth and in your lives during the year 2024” and that “God wants you to manifest His presence in your life, family, work-place, neighborhood and community.”  To read the full transcript of the prophecy, access our website at www.arms.cc

Prophetic words prepare the way, tearing down and building up. Belief, reception, intercession, and action play roles. God reveals His plans through prophets, and their words pave the path to fulfillment.
