Focus on adding discipline to our lives, structure and on our goals for growth

As we enter the new year of 2025 and for the month of January, lets focus on adding discipline to our lives, structure and on our goals for growth. As we do this, let us commit to hard work, patience and stability in our lives.

Understand that true control comes from surrendering our need to be in control of everything. We have to let go of expectations or outcomes and trust in the process. We have to give the Lord greater space to work in our lives. If we hold things too closely, that doesn’t create the space that our Heavenly Father needs to work things out for us.

To manifest the blessing of the Lord in our life we need to put a name to the desires that He has given us. Release our attachment to a particular outcome and truly trust the Lord to work out the desires and goals that he has given us. God can truly work things out in our life when we give the Lord the “how” it is going to work out and the “timing”. By surrendering to the Lord, it positions us for the Lord to help us in the most significant matters in our life and also the small matters that we do on a daily basis. In Philippians 2:13, it says 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Focus on what you can control, set your goals, do your best and then trust our Heavenly Father to work it out. Listen and watch for the Lord’s guidance and take your cue from Him.

Use your time to set your intentions, visualize your goals and then release the outcome to the Lord. Always strive to find joy in the present moment.
